Berjaya Resort, Langkawi

Berjaya Resort is located on Malay island of Langkawi, only 1 hour flight from Kuala Lumpur but also reached by boat from Penang, it is a perfect gateway for honeymooners, couples and family with kids. The guests are acommodated in superior rooms, rainforest chalets and executive chalets on the water. It is the biggest resort on the island, oly 5 minutes drive from Langkawi cable car and Oriental Village.

It also features 5 dining options, a huge pool area and private beach. During rainy days, guest can choose from many facilities offered to them such as play room, board games, theme nights and etc. Beach also offers several possibilites to do water sports for the extreme ones or join one of the many other activities offered by the resort like mangrove plantation walk.

Rainforest chalet which we stayed in was newly renovated with living room area, big bathroom with both shower court and bath tub and bedroom. Bus shuttle which runs 24/7 in the resort will pick you up and bring you up to your place and is available upon request.

Despite the fact Langkawi is not very known among the travellers as they usually tend to go for famous beaches of Thailand, it feels like a paradise and I can only recommend it.
